Spring is Here! DIY Spring Felt Flowers

20 Mar 2014

Spring is here and the flowers are coming! Are you in need of a quick weekend kid craft or planning a garden themed party? Check out this tutorial from Craftaholics Anonymous for DIY Spring Felt Flowers.  All you need is various colors of felt, a glue gun, scissors and big buttons.  Just cut the felt into strips of an inch or so, fold the strips at an angle to make the petals and place a dot of glue to hold it together. Once you have folded enough petals to fill out the circle, glue the last petal to the first petal.  Glue a button in the center and there you have it!   Attach the flowers to any surface you like – a spring wreath, card stock paper, paper towel rolls as the stem of the flower, or a framed canvas.
