Krispy Kreme’s 78th Birthday – Join the Celebration
10 Jul 2015
Krispy Kreme first opened their doors on July 13, 1937 when Vernon Rudolph bought a secret yeast-raised doughnut recipe from a New Orleans French chef, rented a building in what is now historic Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC, and began selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts to local grocery stores. The 1,000th store opened earlier this year in Kansas City, KS. This year marks their 78th Birthday. Join the Celebration!
