A Crafty Birthday Party!
13 Apr 2014

This past weekend we attended our friend’s 5th birthday party at Make Meaning in Southern California. What an awesome place to have a kids birthday party – crafts and candy – what more could a girl want! While we waited for the crafts to begin, the kids got shiny and shimmery tattoos.

The first craft up was soap making. The kids got to fill four boxes with a whole variety of shapes, colors, toys and gadgets. Next the kids had the opportunity to watch as their boxes were magically turned into soap as the liquid was poured over each box.

The kids even got to choose the scent to be added to the soaps.

Next craft up – candy necklace making. I am not sure how much of the candy made it on the necklace versus in the kids’ mouths but the kids sure had fun!

After a favorite meal of kids everywhere (pizza of course), the birthday girl enjoyed a delicious princess cupcake, and each child received a personalized goodie bag including the handmade soaps and candy necklace, along with an assortment of candy and party favors! What a special crafty birthday! Happy Birthday Princess!!
