Mad Scientist with a Hint of Princess Party

This mom couldn’t decide on one single theme for her daughter’s sixth birthday so she decided on the entertainment first. A Mad Scientist party seemed like a fun idea for a curious 6 year old. Since her daughter also was really into princesses, she laced the science party with princess items. An unlikely match, but this Mad Scientist with a Hint of Princess Party worked perfectly.

Mad Scientist Activities

The Mad Scientist was one of the best entertainers I have seen in quite some time! This Scientist was funny and engaging but at the same time taught the kids (and myself) a ton about science. The Scientist was able to tell a story and weave in science without the kids even realizing they were learning. The Birthday Girl got to wear a special lab coat during the experiments. We learned about dry ice and chemical reactions. The experiments seemed more like magic to the kids. The best was the story of Eggbert (an egg) who was trying to get out of a bottle. To top it off, each kid got to create and take home their very own container of slime. The science themed goody bags were filled with geometric shaped toys, a maze, spikey ball, stacking crayons and other trinkets to keep a budding scientist busy.

Hint of Princess

To complete this unique party theme, pink and purple were used throughout the other activities, table settings and decorations for a Hint of Princess. The kids jumped away in a Princess castle bounce house and feasted on yummy princess themed cupcakes.

This unexpected birthday party theme of a Mad Scientist with a Hint of Princess was a complete success.

Happy Birthday to a Special Girl!
